After over a year of planning, the Howlin' Wolf is proud to announce the opening of its new location on 1623 Montgomery St. in Mandeville, the former site of Piffany Oaks.

Opening night will be Friday, March 6, and will include performances by drummer extraordinaire Russell Batiste and friends, followed by The Howlin' Wolf Allstars featuring George Porter Jr. on bass, Russell Batiste on drums,  and Mark Mullins of Bonerama on trombone.  Sitting in on keyboard and guitar are Papa Grows Funk's John "Papa" Gros and June Yamagishi.  Doors open at 9pm.  Tickets are $30 and includes open bar.  All proceeds will be donated to the Mandeville Police and Firemen.
