Susan Cowsill

Susan Cowsill began her musical career in a way that should have been made into a TV show. She was in a "bubblegum pop" family band during the 60s.

Oh....wait....that was a TV show.

However, the family band that she was a part of went by the name The Cowsills and not The Partridges. And unlike the Partridges, the Cowsills' music was actually listenable; creating such great tunes as "Indian Summer" and the title track from the hit movie "Hair."

Here's another Cowsills' hit:

Susan has since moved on with a successful solo career, and was kind enough to make New Orleans her home base in 1993. She released her first album "Just Beleive It" in 2005, and is currently in the studio working on another with her husband, and drummer, Russ.

The Howlin Wolf Northshore is proud to have Susan perform on Friday, June 26 with The Junior League. The show starts at 9:30 and you can purchase tickets by clicking on the tickets link from the Howlin Wolf Northshore Website.Stumble Upon Toolbar
